Solutions

THISS and its partners are developing managed, high availability, flexible, cost effective services for professional satellite user community. The concept of product simplicity, with portability, ease of installation and operation are key parameters in the service offering. THISS's unique antenna technology along with CDMA modulation, allows THISS to provide small, portable or mobile terminals that can access pre-existing global C band satellites.

THISS is currently focused on the regional roll-out of the portable miniV terminal and associated broadband services, in the Asian Region in July 2004. This will be followed later this year by the launch of mobilV and mobilX terminals using existing stabilized antenna platform, designs to provide mobile services.

THISS has partnered with Intelsat as global satellite operator, and SingTel as its regional Teleport partner to provide key Infrastructure to support its services.

The THISS hub will be hosted at the SingTel Bukit Timah Teleport and hub equipment, modem and IP network technology will support a variety of terminal configurations so minimal upgrades to the network are required for successive terminal and higher speed data implementations. THISS is actively in discussions with various partners on strategies for further regional and global service provision in the future.

Streamsat - Prodata/Broadband

SteamSat products using X antenna are the solution to portable, cost effective, high availability satellite communication.  StreamSat - Broadband provides for symmetric and asymmetric IP data services at data rates exceeding 64 kbps. StreamSat - Prodata customise to provide lower data rates for telemetry and SCADA networks up to 64 kbps.

Streamsat - Prima

The Prima is a small, mobile terminal in which multiple antenna elements are phased so as to provide 360º coverage via the use of an antenna switching matrix,. The Prima terminal is housed in a small ellipsoidal shaped radome that supports position reporting, messaging and telemetry information. The first Prima terminal has been branded the Mariner terminal for applications related to Fisheries markets.
