THISS Technologies is pleased to announce that it has received its first batch of miniV terminals designed and manufactured by Agilis Communication Technologies of Singapore. miniV is the world's small VSAT terminal designed to connect voice and data simultaneously for high portability requirement in the oil-&-gas and mining industries, for instance. From it's inception in July 2003, the miniV development took less than 15 months to arrive at its maturity today.

Commenting on the delivery THISS CCO Dominic Parsons said "THISS and Agilis have achieved another milestone. We are pleased to accept these first terminals from Agilis with more to come in early October as we ramp towards full service in Q1 2005." THISS' miniV service will undergo limited commercial release with selected partners and end customers through Q4 2004 prior to the full release in early 2005.

Dominic further added, "Getting to this point has been a complex and challenging process for all involved and more challenges lie ahead. We continue to be impressed that THISS and Agilis have been able to work so successfully as a team to complete this development in record time."

"THISS has chosen to partner with market leaders around the world in developing its range of portable satcoms products and bringing them to market. With the combination of the technology, the success of the development effort and the support of our partners we can say with confidence that we are on track for the full service release early next year."

While the miniV service will be available initially in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, the company plans to move quickly, expanding toward global coverage during 2005. The miniV is one of several services that the Company is developing to bring affordability and expanded services to users of satellite communications.
